Question of the week

I'm so impressed by you two that you actually drink water, regularly, and lots. Great job!

This week's question.....

"Why do you want to lose weight?"

I'm so sorry!

Oh ladies. I'm so sorry to drop off on you! This move was really stressful on me, and I can only handle so many things at once. I'm starting up again on Monday. I've got to try and get a new
scale this weekend. Threw out my old one when we moved. But, staying true with the theme of this blog, I'm more than a number and I'll start up again Monday even if I can't do a weigh-in. I can at least eat healthy:) Right?! How're you all doing? I'm excited to get started up again with you all and lets hit our goals girls!

Jen

I missed it!

I'm sorry I missed Friday's weigh-in! We are crazy busy, tired, stressed, etc....
I'll try and post the weekly questions and keep up with weigh-ins through the move but the computer is taking a backseat for a bit. I hope you all understand:) I've not lost any weight. I might have even gained a lb. or 2. We've eaten out the last couple of days and I'm just lucky if I get dinner made for everyone, much less make a special meal for myself. Keep going you guys and I'll catch up to you when I get settled in Wa. I'm excited, our apartment has a fitness center and I can really start excercising again!! Woohoo! I hope you all are doing good. I'll continue praying for you guys even if I'm MIA for a little bit.

Jen

Question of the week

Here's the question of the week.

Do you try to set weekly weightloss goals for yourself? If so, how much do you usually try to lose?

Blessings!

Friday's weigh-in

My internet is down this weekend. Sorry! Did everyone do their weigh-ins and change their tickers? To change your tickers, click on it here. It'll take you to the tickerfactory website. Click, edit/change weight info., change your current weight, click next at the bottom, then leave the website.
I had a 4-5 lb. loss but I've been pretty bad this weekend.
Hopefully I can get my internet working by the end of the weekend.
Love,
Jen

Question of the week

Alrighty folks, I think I've got things set up. If you want to change anything in your Intro. just email me and I'll change it. Anything that bothers you let me know! I'm working on some posts but it'll take me a bit to get them together.

In the mean time, I've got a question for you all:) You may answer even if you haven't officially joined yet.

"What is the most helpful thing to you that helps you stay on program?"

Mlpinky's Intro.

Hi! I am Mlpinky and I'm 34 years old. I have had weight issues since turning twenty. I really struggle with munching at night. I also have Rheumatiod Arthritis so exercising is a little more tricky. I would like to lose 59 pounds by my next birthday (June 29th).

Jen's Intro.

I am Jennifer and I am 29 years old. I've been overweight since I had my first child at 20. About 3 1/2 years ago I lost my first 20 lbs. Then a year later I lost another 30. I then gained most of it back between life's circumstances having my 5th child. I am a "nervous eater" and I am trying to learn how to turn to God instead of food. I just recently lost 15 lbs and I need to lose about 55-60 more. My goal would be to lose it by February 14th, 2009. That is my 11th wedding anniversary. I will be following a low-carb diet because that is what I "know". I might change program mid-course as I learn from others. For excercise, I will be riding a stationary bike working up to 45 mins, 3 times a week. Then small weights and situps 3 days a week and working up to pilates moves.

Almerry's Intro

I am Almerry and I'm 31 years old. I have been trying to lose weight for the past 3.5 years. I have lost about 40 pounds already. I have been gaining and losing the same 5-10 lbs for the past 2 years. Time to get serious again. I will be using a lower carb diet. I have done really well with this in the past. I was a pure follower of Atkins, then I had to stop eating cheese. Without cheese, Atkins can be a very boring diet. So I will be slightly more liberal with fruit than the diet allows in the weight loss stages. I will be exercising (hopefully) and doing some weight/strength training. I pray that this time, I will lose the rest of my weight.
